Catching up with @Aceball - Part V

Cody Ransom.

Saturday, July 16: part five in our series marked the third and final day of the Johnny Cash tribute. To mark the occasion, Cash's son, John Carter Cash and his wife, Laura Cash were in attendance. John threw out the ceremonial first pitch and Laura sang the anthem. I chatted with them a bit, very nice folks.

It was also "Tech is Good Day" at the ballpark. Tech is Good is a local charity (and client of mine). They provide scholarships, computer equipment and educational opportunities to local high school students and the community. Before the game, I photographed the inaugural class of scholarship recipients on the field. One lucky recipient, Samantha Guiterrez, accompanied manager Brett Butler during the plate meeting.

This is kind of a long post but lots of stuff happened that night. Also, there was a baseball game. The Reno Aces beat the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 8-6.

I'm sorry Kelly, but I have 38 readers and they needed to see this pic.
