My next few posts are images from the July-August, "Taste" issue of Reno Magazine.
These three are from a shoot in Fallon, Nev. at Sand Hill Dairy. The Dairy, founded in 1993 by Isidro Alves recently started making queso fresco and is the only farmstead cheese produced in Nevada.
The cheese is available at the Great Basin Community Food Co-op and runs about $6 for 12 ounces. I like it on tacos.
