The Aces struggled again Monday night losing their third straight to Tucson (
4-2). The big news at the ballpark however was the introduction of new Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Eric Edelstein. Edelstein comes to Reno from the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Double-A affiliate with the Kansas City Royals. He has an impressive
resume.
In addition to Edelstein, the Aces welcomed (back) first baseman Mike Jacobs. Jacobs started spring training with Tacoma but was released with a week left in camp. He spend the last couple of months playing Mexico. The club
blogged about his journey back to the States. It's worth a read.
Reno played without manager Brett Butler who was suspended for bumping an umpire after being ejected Monday night. Hitting coach Greg Gross managed the third base coaches box in Bugsy's absence.
