Aces ballpark hosted a day-night doubleheader Saturday. Reno swept the affair beating Astros pitching prospect Mark Appel in the first game,
8-0; and former major leaguer Dan Straily,
2-1, in the second. Despite the win, Fresno (44-32) still looks out of Reno's (35-41) reach in the Pacific Northern standings. I know it's early but that's a lot of ground to make up.
