Reno 4, Albuquerque 3

The strength of the pack is the wolf...

Braden Shipley made his Triple-A debut Monday night in front of a wet, not-so-sold-out crowd. 

It was Shipley's first Reno start since being selected in the first round—15th overall—of the 2013 Major League Baseball amateur draft out of the University of Nevada by the Diamondbacks. His battery mate, Brett Hayes, also attended Nevada. Hayes was drafted in 2005 by the Florida Marlins in the second round. 

This is a long way of saying, I'm really happy with the above picture of the two Nevada-boys playing catch before the game.
