Reno 10, Colorado Springs 6

Micah Owings.

Four days, four games, forty hours at the ballpark—and more actuations than I care to share. The Aces won three-of-four during the stretch and took the series—their third straight—from the Sky Sox, outscoring them 39-22. Bugsy's boys can swing it.

The light was disappointing last night. Normally, I love a 6:05 p.m. start: great light on the mound (I was looking forward to getting some shots of newcomer Micah Owings) but the cloud cover west of town was frustrating. I still made some nice frames but I had to shoot at a higher ISO than I wanted, earlier than I wanted.

In addition to Owings, I shot some photos of the Triple Play sandwich. Thanks to Levy executive chef Billy Dever for helping out last minute.

The Aces play the Sacramento River Cats tonight in the first game of a four game series. I'm not shooting but will be back tomorrow for the 1:05 p.m. start.

Here's a few photos from last night's 10-6 win.
