Reno 8, Salt Lake City 7

I'm still adjusting to life sans wisdom teeth.

And last night, I think the absence there of impacted my images.

Down seven early, the Aces rallied to beat Salt Lake, 8-7 in ten innings. It was a hell of a game. In addition to knocking in the game-winning RBI, Collin Cowgill hit for the cycle. To top it off, fans enjoyed 70 degree weather and dollar ribs.

I should have shot better pictures: the opportunities were there. Still, when the season started I made a personal pact to blog after every game. Which, unfortunately for you dear reader, means a few mediocre dailies and one pretty picture of the left field light stanchion1.

Enjoy.

Mark Hallberg.

Dizzy bat race.

Layne + Peavine. I like shooting lefties from the first base well.

Cowgill rounds the bases after hitting his sixth inning dinger.

Jordan Norberto.

Cowgill completes the cycle with a triple in the eighth.

Cody Ransom.

Jub-o.

1I've been shooting this picture for years. It's not challenging just something I've wanted in my book ever since I read this article on the history stadium lights (ESPN The Magazine, July 27, 2010—insider access only).
