Reno 9, Tucson 2

This will make more sense if you read Shit Photojournalist Like.

I'm back at the ballpark tonight, sitting in an empty press box regretting the two hot dogs I just ate. Figured that was as good a reason as any to blog about a game that happened a week ago.

These photos are from last Thursday's 9-2 win over the Tucson Padres.

Pre-game, there were two dancers—dressed in egyptian costumes—promoting the Nevada Museum of Art's latest exhibit. Afterward, they walked the concourse passing out fliers. Only in Reno, right? If memory serves me, Wily Mo had a nice night (4-5, two doubles and a home run). I' mean, I sure do have a lot of pictures of him.

Thursday was also manager Brett Butler's birthday. So it had that going for it...which was nice.

Tonight, Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey is at the ballpark. Everybody is pretty stoked.
