Sacramento 12, Reno 4

Love this photo. One of my favorites so far this season.

I love Sundays in April at the ballpark. Just games ago it snowed. And now—a few days later—I'm wearing shorts and a floppy hat trying to keep from burning in the 81-degree, midday sun.

I love Reno.

The Aces lost 12-4. Sacramento racked up 15 hits. Fourteen off of Charles Brewer in his Triple-A debut. But the game was fast—two hours and 55 minutes—and that's almost as important.

I felt like I had one of my better games: nice, clean action and I made some features I liked.

I'm off tomorrow but back again Tuesday. First pitch, 1:05 p.m.. A work-a-day special. More photos to come. Enjoy.
