The Reno Aces are back at the yard for their second home stand—a four-gamer against the Sacramento River Cats. I'm excited to see former Ace, Collin Cowgill return to the ballpark. Cowgill was traded to the Oakland Athletics last season along with pitching prospect Jarrod Parker for
Trevor Cahill. Parker started the game for the Cats but only pitched two and change. He looked good and will probably be with the big club soon.
The River Cats beat Reno,
6-0.
Also, Diamondbacks prospect Adam Eaton made his Northern Nevada debut. Eaton replaces A.J. Pollock in centerfield and will most likely bat lead-off for manager Brett Butler.
