Nice game, Kaep

In his first NFL start, subbing for injured frontman Alex Smith, Wolf Pack alum Colin Kaepernick passed for 243 yards, two touchdowns and led the San Francisco 49ers in a 32-7 drubbing over the Chicago Bears.

At Nevada, Kaepernick became the first Division I quarterback to pass for more than 10,000 yards and rush for more than 4,000. In 2011 he was drafted 36th overall by San Francisco.

Coach Jim Harbaugh wouldn't commit to a week 12 starter after the game but it's clear, Kaep has some support (123).
