I photographed the 33rd annual Jack T. Reviglio Cioppino Feed and Auction Saturday night for the Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows.
More than 1,600 people attended the $200 per seat (open bar) fundraiser. After the auction they will have raised nearly $1 million for the club.
It's a busy, fun night: people eat, people drink and people spend a lot of money. And for the most part, every body wears jeans. It's very Reno.
The seafood at this year’s feed included 680 pounds of snow crab, 525 pounds of black tiger shrimp, 530 pounds of cod, 250 pounds of clams, 260 pounds of mussels and 72 2-inch-deep pans of polenta.
