Fresno 11, Reno 5

After four days in Sacramento, the Aces returned to Reno for an eight-game home stand. They opened with Fresno. I got to the ballpark early Thursday for batting practice. I needed to photograph a few of the bench guys for the trading card set (in case they didn't get playing time before the deadline). Also, I like batting practice and being at the ballpark early. It's a really peaceful place when it's mostly empty.

Like I said, they haven't been playing well. And they continued to slide down the standings with an 11-5 loss. After the game, starting pitcher Nelson Figueroa was released.
