A late Reno rally fell a run short Thursday night in an 8-7 loss to Las Vegas. Starting pitcher A.J. Schugel gave up six runs on 12 hits in 3 2/3 innings. It's early but I'm starting to get a feel for this team. They can hit but if they don't pitch better, it's going to be a .500 season.
