I shot an AP special assignment a couple weeks ago for The National, the Abu Dhabi Media company's first English-language publication. Cool assignment, decent pictures. I photographed the Steve Fossett Land Speed Record Car in a warehouse in Sparks, Nev. a couple days after Christmas. Best part though—besides getting a tear sheet from the UAE— meeting two of the crew chiefs. Cool guys. Very helpful. Thanks Richard, Leigh.
